Who made the machines that make the locks of the Erie canal, you might have found yourself wondering? Who made the machines that made the machines? I was curious. And found the answers here…. A side note, all these machines have largely been pulled apart and sold as scrap metal to China. The replacements are digital and run by computers, not humans.
